Very nice man!! What is that off to the left of your tank looking at the current tank shot?? Is that coralline?? :)

Edit: Give me a sec and I will mark what I am talking about.

Here's the picture. What is that in the black box?? Almost looks like a huge carpet anemone and then it looks like coralline... :)

Ummm, Im embarressed to say...hehehe, Thats coralline coating the front of the glass... I have to admit I got really discouraged with the tank after the bad started to happen. Right now the only thing Im battling is red slime and coralline algaes. I figured the substrate in the current tank is just filled with organics helping to fuel it.
When I remove the rock for the transfer Im going to scrub and rinse them in two tubs of the current tank water then put them in the new tank with the remaining water then adding new water for topoff, kind of like a big water change. I know doing this is probably going to present its own problems but, Im hoping they will be easier than the red slime.

Oh, behind the coralline algae is my 6 year old yellow Fiji leather Im sure that will be happier in the new tank.

Wow!! It's funny how your brain sees things!! That looked like it was on your back glass or in the middle of the tank, but now that you say it, I can see it as being coralline on the front glass. Well, that means you have some pretty good water in there! :D

Wow Im flabbergasted !!!! I lost more than 3/4 of my soft corals during this move and one hard coral. I have managed to save my six year old yellow fiji leather and my 5 year old clam and all the fish but to my dismay the corals are gone. Im wondering if it was a combination of old tank water and new water or if they stressed and nuked each other. I just dont know...

Update... Just went down to feed and my 5 year old clam has died. Man I knew I did to much, Looks Like Im starting from scratch.
