I I was scraping coraline of the front glass and noticed it was tucked back in the cave halfway. Which was weird because it acts like it owns the tank. It never hides. And then today I kept thinking that the shape was weird and so I kept staring at it till I saw two distinct forms. This was the nem I wanted to split. I have plenty RBTA's. But I wanted the rainbow to split because I can't find one for under a couple hundred. This one I bought for $100 and it came out of a tank with no heat and chemical warfare raging. It was olive drab green with a hint of mustard. Not pretty at all. Then it almost died on me I talked myself out of pulling it one morning. And then after upgrading to the current tank it began to improve and got to be the size of a dinner plate. I bet the cause was that it was huge and it shrunk back when a powerhead fell and was blowing directly at it. So now I have 9 bta in my 46 bowfront. And an LTA I rescued from petco. It shrunk to the size of a quarter there and when I asked why they were charging full price for it the lady said for you it's free. Bag it was my response. It is now 5" across
