I cleaned my tank three days ago and when I was done I noticed my YWG was missing and his little cave was filled in. I tried to scoop the sand away from the opening to his cave but it seems maybe his rock collapsed on him. This is one of the main larger rocks that was pretty much supporting half of the other ones. So I waited and today was day three of no goby, so I decided I better start moving the rocks to get his dead body out. I moved over half of the rocks and put them in a bucket one at a time until I got to his rock I removed it and he was under there he kinda swam slowly out and then all of the sudden he was darting around the tank all crazy. He did this for about a minute straight and then settled down. So as I was re-aquascaping I saw him stuck to the over flow not really moving I scooped him up and put him in the fuge so he could recuperate. I got him to eat a little bit and he seems to be doing ok now but I'm going to leave him in there for a couple of days to make sure he is ok.
Then as I was putting the rocks back in I noticed this orange slimy thing in my bucket I thought it was a large Bristle Worm but as I looked closer it was my Bi-Color Blenny he was probably in there without hardly any water just enough to keep him wet on his side for 5-10 minutes. I scooped him up and put him in the fuge. He seemed fine and just hid in a rock I had in there so after I was done putting all the rocks back in I caught him and put him back in the D.T. but now he seems to be really stressed out and lost a lot of his color. I figured I better just leave him alone for the rest of the night and shut the lights off early I hope he is ok in the morning.
All in all I feel good about my YWG being alive but just hope for the best that they both recover ok.
Sorry about the long story!
