My weekend took my mind off my tank!

Oh wow...I really need to start beating the water with my fly rod. I just bought a St Croix avid and a St Croix legend elite rod and haven't used either yet! Nice fish BTW wish I could find some.

Yeah, it was my first time out this summer season. I was up in Alaska for the weekend fishing, I will be back up about 5 more times this year to get my fix. I dont fish much around here but I have had good luck with Steelhead when I did go out. Fly fishing is my second addiction!!

I would love to go to Alaska, but without knowing someone there it is just soo expensive. Guides aren't cheap and fly fishing is almost as inflated as reefing. I wish I could figure out an affordable way to get up there because it is my Grandpa's bucket list to fish Alaska and I'd love to make that happen.

No guides are not cheap at all, I'm glad I lived up there for 7 years so I know where to go. I will be at SEA MAX this weekend since its happening 5 blocks from my place. Hopefully I can meet you then and other members.

Very nice Javier, where were you fishing? without giving up your Honey Hole of course. Seth and I will have to settle for catching some of the 8-10 million expected Pinks coming into the sound, should be a whole lot for the table and smoker and a whole bunch more than that for catch-n-release. I'll be out at Ole dark-thirty at Pt No Pt this saturday for the King opener and if anything like last year should be fun. We need to get a bunch of us together for a RF Club Fishing Outing, Maybe once the Pinks and Silvers are into the Snohomish or Skykomish River in number we could all meet up for a day. Fishing is absolutely my other adiction as well.

That sounds like a blast! Of course my wife would have to come too now that she has picked up a fly rod. She isn't very skilled yet but absolutely loves it. Don't worry though I've been teaching her right. "You caught...you clean it now stick your hands in there!" LOL

Shoot I haven't even been here to try a run yet I've always been gone.
