Need a good basic pump for WC. Any recommendation?

Basically, will have two 32 gal brute next to my sink and about 5 ft away from the tank. Want a nice reliable pump to do WC (for pumping water into and out of tank). Eheim is supposedly great but they're a little expensive. Anything comparable but cheaper? I really don't want to buy the cheap crap that will die on me a year from now.

I use a Mag Drive for the same thing in my setup.

i use a mag for drain and a rio 1000 for fill and my res is bout 30' from the tank in the garadge.
