I broke down my 135 gal due to a move and an aiptasia infestation and screbbed and dried (for 3 months) all but ~25 lbs of liverock to start anew.

The rock I kept has leathers, mushrooms and o0ther softies on them that I want to keep so I want to aclimate them to the new system before fraging them into the main display. I also Am hoping to seed the lacerock with this rock.

The questions is, what are the chances of infesting the rest of my new tank if I put the infested rock into a sump chamber with a filter block in between it and the return to my display?

Is there any good way to do this safely?

If there is aptasia on your sump rock it will make it to your display. If the seed rock has any on it, then it will infest your dry rock.
