Need help with CPR bak-Pak

I just bought a new pump for my skimmer (CPR Accela Pump for Bak-Pak) and noticed a lot more air bubbles coming back into the tank. What can I do to eliminate this? I tried allowing only a small amount of air going into it, but the results the same.

It could be that its not broken in.

If after a while it still keeps up.... then you can try sticking a piece of window screen into the output pipe.

If that doesnt work... then put it on a timer to run at night, haha

I took these 3 steps and I'm happy with the skimmer on the timer. Its alot more quiet during the day anyways.. lol

Add a bubble trap to the return side of the skimmer

yep, the pump has to break in, which might take a week, but it will still probably kick some micros back in the tank, you could get both of these though to fix it for cheap:
