This little cridder is on the shell of one of my astrea. Any idea what it might be?

Hmm . . . I cannot really make out what it is. Could you zoom further in on it?

Bob Dobbs says Vermatid snail. I probley spelled it wrong but its a snail that attachs its shell, then sends out a mucus net to capture food.

I agree with wrightme43 - Vermetid snail. you can make out its two tentacles in the second pic. Here is a video of them eating: Feeding Behavior of a Vermetid Gastropod
