Need info on Warner Marine H1 HOB Skimmer

Warner Marine hasn't responded to my email or voicemail.

Does anyone know the minimum height of a tank for using the WM H1 HOB skimmer? I know the total height is 18 inches, but I can't find any information on how far down it hangs below the "clamp".

Ideally I'm looking to use a standard 10 gallon glass tank, and they are only about 12.5" high, and because of where it sits, I can't have the skimmer go below the bottom of the tank.

I had this skimmer on a 15g tank that was the same height as a 10g, it will work great....it might sit up from the lip slightly, but not enough to effect anything adversly.

Great! Thanks for the response. As luck would have it, I finally reached WM today and they gave me the height from the bottom of the skimmer to the underside of the bracket as 11 1/8 inches...so I've got one on the way!

Do you think I'll have any issue with attaching to/hanging onto a rimless glass tank?

none at all, the new design is ideal for rimless.
