Need some eel advice

My friend has just had his 3'rd eel jump out of his 125 gallon tank and now he is really frustrated!!! He has everything covered except a few small holes that are needed to make space for the filteration stuff. What should he do?

get hardcore and double up on plastic netting and zip ties.

and it's not so much that they jump out, as they crawl out. if they can crawl out, they will, and they are strong enough to push thro flaps or flexible plastic you may have to block openings.
