is there anything i can do to modify my eco396 to make more bubbles for my coralife 125 skimmer maybe drill a bigger hole for the airline is place mesh over the exit of the pump or is there a replacement impeller i can buy? any suggestions or am i sol and going to be stuck buying another pump.

The first thing you need to worry about is the eco rusting terribly in your sump. I've ran that exact pump and it has a huge heat sink on it that is not rated for sw. You can meshmod it and build a venturi out of pvc and use a hose barb for the air injector.
