Just to let everyone know Blue Sierra has started to implement a process of dipping corals and fish that are acclimated into our systems.

Fish are acclimated in pans with a broad-spectrum all natural bacteria medication. Before they are introduced into systems they are dipped into a freshwater + methylene blue medication for about 30 seconds. Then introduced into our aquariums.

SPS corals are dipped in solution of Tropic Marin Pro Coral Cure then soaked into a iodine SeaChem Reed Dip solution before entering retail aquariums.

Zoanthids are soaked in a solution of Tropic Marin Pro Coral Cure then dipped into a solution of SeaChem Reed Dip + Salifert Flat Worm Exit before entering retail aquariums.

Most other corals are soaked in a solution of Seachem Reed Dip before being introduced into our aquariums.

We are taking strides to eliminate or prevent possible infections, parasites, and pests from being introduce into our aquariums and in turn into your home aquarium. As always we suggest to take measure into your own hand in trying to prevent possible infestations into your own display tanks.

That is great news, wish every supplier would try doing the same, this would increase the quality for everyone.
