We are proud to announce the arrival of Continuum blades. The Continuum blades are compatable with the Kent style scrapers. These are made in the USA and seem to be of much better quality.
"Acrylic scrapers are made of a special self lubricating plastic that is softer than acrylic, so it will not scratch acrylic (if used properly). Constructed of 316 stainless steel, the AquaBlade metal blade is strong and rust resistant so removing that stubborn coralline algae is a breeze.
The AquaBlade is injected molded as a solid piece of plastic which keeps water from entering the unit while using. This means no hollow handles and drizzling of excess water when removed from the aquarium. And without trapped aquarium water inside the scraper it will never develop odors from growing bacteria."
After a few days of scraping with them, they definately do the job, and still look new. Come check em out! Acrylic blades come in single or triple packs, $8.99 and $15.99 respectively. Stainless are $9.99 and $15.99. We also have the short scraper with an acrylic or stainless blade included, $18.99 and $19.99. Long scrapers will be coming soon!
