I was wondering how long everyone keeps their new fish in isolation before they move them into their display tanks? On average I have isolated mine anywhere from 2 to 3 weeks when they haven’t shown any signs of disease.
Can they be moved earlier if they look healthy and are eating?
Thanks

in lee's QT post on what you should do you are to leave them in there for a MINIMUM of 6 weeks. So it looks like rather then you wanting to go faster you should be going slower.

I usaully only wait 4 weeks though but if by then they dont come up to the front of the tank when i walk by i wait longer untill they do.

agreed... slower is better then faster... if the fish is happy and healthy in a Qt tank.. let it be
