Been busy most of today and this is what I have to show for it.
The body is 10" dia cast, the neck is 6" cast and all the flat pieces are cast as well. The collection cup/neck fit's to the body in a friction fit "neck" made of 3 pieces of acrylic 1/4" on the outside and 3/8" on the inside. I used a 1/4" "O" ring material and made the "O" ring for the friction fit neck. Tried using 1/4" for all three pieces but that didn't work. The 1/4" "O" material is larger than 1/4"
The cone is the only piece that is extruded and works best for forming in the oven (RC) I tried at first with cast but it was to "hard' of a material to form.
Just waiting for the 2 Sedra 9000 and they will be mesh modded. it's kind of big for the new tank but I'm thinking future upgrade so I wou't have to build another one :eek2: I'll be using the Uni-Seals for the pumps and the exit tube and it'll have a gate valve on it.
