I'm starting to look at purchasing items for a new tank and I wanted to get everyone's thoughts on ideas for a new skimmer. This tank will be anywhere from 100-200 gallons, so I'm just going to assume 200 for now and will include a 40 gallon frag tank along with around another 60 gallons or so for a sump/refugium, so around 300 gallons in all. This tank will be a reef setup (SPS dominate). I also know that I should get a skimmer that is rated for a higher setup as not all specs are 100% accurate and I would like to have a little cushion before it starts to max out the skimmer, so I'm guessing 400+. I would like to know what those of you with similar setups have and how your skimmers are working for you. I've been eyeballing the ATI Bubble Master 250, but I'm having trouble swallowing the $800+ price tag. Does anyone out there use something else that you feel is comparable for less?

210 display, 112 sump, 65 fuge, 40 frag tank, 30 crytpic. 440 system total, mixed reef, ATI BM 250, I feel like its maxed out. I would have gone bigger if my wife would have permitted it.

Should have gone with a MSX 250 or 300. Half the price.
