We have fine tuned a way to attach a wood face frame to our steel stands. In the past we welded tabs that one could use to attach your face frame. We felt this was ok, but have always been thinking of a better way. Here is the new CFI way.
This looks like a hole drilled through the vertical, but infact it is a tube welded and ground flush. When this steel stand gets coated, there will be no possible way for water to get to the inside.
