Yes welcome and great pic. I am hoping to introduce a mandarin in a couple months or so. I would love to hear your experience with him.

Thanks for the warm welcome. My tank is a 125 mixed reef of softies and SPS. I am working my way over slowly to all SPS. I run a wet/dry converted into a refugium with cheato and live rock. The tank has high flow. Lighting for the fuge is opposite the main display which has approx 900 wts of 10,000k hqi's and 50/50pc's. I have lots of zoos, xenia that gets out of hand that my lfs likes, some rics, four clams(deresa,2 crocea, maxima), various frogspawn, hammer etc. As far as sps I started out with a couple of green slimers, humulis, millipora, purple encrusting montipora, 1 orange & 1 purple digitata and a few more not sure of all the names. Right now I'm adding calcium, mag, and alk like crazy to keep levels in line. So far growth is doing well with the sps. If I have questions I will be sure to post them.

Sorry I forgot to mention about my experience with the mandarin. I got him about a month ago and he has gotten fat since then so I guess my live rock is substantial to support him. The tank has enough pods either on the rock or fuge and it has been set up for a year and 4 months so I think he will be just fine. I haven't seen him eat anything I feed my other fish yet though. My other fish are a true percula, yellow tang, and a six line wrasse. I tried an Achilles tang a while back. That was a mistake!

yea and if you believe that i have this land i am trying to get rid of.....
Just kidding Curt.:D
