Hello all I've decided to make the switch from fw to sw, as I made a mistake a got a f8 puffer. I Have home in a 3.5 g tank. That I already converted to his ph, sg, nitrate, and nutrite levels are 0. With no live rock or sand. JUst a super small power/filter I bought from petsmart. And an airstone on the opposite side to help create a small current. The other one I got with him didn't make the switch. But that was my fault and feel bad. I've done a lot of reseach on sw tanks and want to upgrade to a 20 gallon. I know what I need. And will be getting everything soon. I guess I Have a ? About current Or flow in the tank. So if anyone has suggestions or wants to answer my ? IT would be great. I want to hide my thermometer, the pump and the hob filter that I will mod into a refugium. Already know how I'm going to do it. I just need to know how I can split the flow from the pump into two currents. Cause I really don't like the look for a impeller in my tank. I've seen Krishs 15 gallon nano. Hence how I figured I'd hide everything. But I can't find the equipment to split the current like he did. Help please

Get return pump and drill a bulkhead fitting and pipe to the inlet of the external pump. And get a y adapter and pipe the split into the other holes drilled for bulkhead. Its called a closed cercuit system. As it bypasses the sump/fuge. But you still want a sump/fuge also.
