New tort acro not opening up

Hi all,

I bought a green tort acro with a light blue tip about a week ago. Since the purchase the polyps has not come out yet, everything else looks pretty healthy so far ( no bleaching or receding of tissue). Is this normal? or abnormal. I have no prior experience with tort acros.

I have always thought they were finicky. Look at it at night and see if it has any polyp extention. Look for things that bother it such as red bugs. Some torts dont extend there polyps very much. Do you have other acro's? The flow could cause it to retract its polyps, maybe move it to another location.

Jason - do you have other SPS in the tank? What are your inhabitants? Have you checked for the polyps at night?
