New water movers

I just ordered two Tunze Turbelle nanostream 6015s for the 29 nano. I have read that these are pretty good but have no experience with them. I hope they are descent.

I've had the original tunze turbelle streams in my 75gal (one that put out 1600 gph and one on a controller that put out 1850 gph) then I had the nano stream in my aquapod. You can't go wrong with a Tunze!

No problem...A lot of the other pumps out there like the Seio, Koralia etc all came out after the Tunze in which they seemed to try and copy Tunze's design if you ask me with the wide flow. Honestly, nothing like a Tunze IMO.

Yes they do. I am sold. I have a brand new Red Sea wave maker I am going to use with them.

Not sure if the ones you have can be used on a wave maker so double check it. I know one of my original tunzes was able to be used on a controller, but the other couldn't so check to be sure.

No, I meant if the tunze's you have can be put on a controller as some powerheads if put on a controller will be damaged from all of the on/off cycles. Only certain powerheads can withstand the on/off cycles and from what I can remember, not all tunze's can be put on controllers, but your model may be fine. I'd double check though to be sure.

Krish, you were right. They have to be on for a minimum of 15 minutes abd the can be shut down.

This thread isn't doing me any favors. I ordered two 6105's to augment two MP40Ws that I have in my 180 and they're scheduled for UPS delivery today. I'm beside myself with anticipation and this thread isn't helping because I'm still at work. Somebody needs to post that they're crappy pumps and I paid too much for them or I'm gonna pop an artery any second now.
