These are some pictures of the new zoanthid I brought in this week. They were frags from our farm. They were such a hit I had to post pics even though they all sold today. There will be more in about 4 weeks so if you want to jump on the waiting list please let me know. There is also a picture of the last red zoanthid frag we have left. Its $29.99. Sorry the pics aren't the best.

cool i just bought sum green and purple spotted zoas yesterday they look like one of your pics with out the purple
how do u package your zoas when u sell them a)in water b) straight out of water in to bag or c) in wet paper?

the thing is yesterday i requested mine in wet paper was greeted with are u sure u want them like this ive read bornemans article on shipping coral and thought this was the best idea was i right or would u bag them in water?

I've Only know snails to be shipped in wet news paper and that inside a plastic bag!

If zooanthids get crushed they will expell poison that can kill !!!

Mos't that I've seen place corals in a bag with water and oxygen. Preferably the frag plug pressed into a small piece of styrafoam and rubberbanded to it ( in the case of soft coarls (Zooanthids I would not use the rubberbands as they could squish them) then placed in the bag floating upsidedown so the top does not get damaged !!

I would like (if you remember it) to see that article and read it myself !!

:)

Picked up one of the green/orange zoas this afternoon. Very nice, not bad for the first zoa in my first tank.

We usually package in water but we receive zoas in wet paper only all the time. They ship fine that way. Reef Central's coral farming/fragging section has tons of shipping method info for anyone interested in current methods.
