Ok im kindda mad at my self i just nicked a good 3/16 by 3/4 slice off of my silicone inside my tank about 6" deep....

Im not to worried cause i know ive seen worse, but im woundering about silicone that will dry quickly then cure in water?

anyone know of something like this... waiting 24hr with the tank water level dropped 6" is outta the question...

Ive marked the out side with a marker to see if it grows... but now im so paranoid, im unsure if the marks i saw were there b4... I guess time will tell

i could drop the water for 20min or so let it harden a little and then let it cure under water?

The AGA silicone will cure under water. While its not recommended I've done it before.

somehow I just don't think the silicone will stick to wet glass,

and I would think you would need a minimum of 24 hours to let it cure with a thin layer.

If it isn't leaking I wouldn't worry to much, the silicone between the glass is making the seal the overlap is just extra security. Otherwise suck it up and do it right. 
