Well my 120 gal fish only is finally free of the dreaded bio balls. My nitrates were residing above 100 and as I slowly replaced half of the balls with livre rock, they have dropped to half of that. i just removed The rest and added 100 lbs of live rock to the tank itself along with a little more to the 20 gal sump. I hope to say good bye to the remaining nitrates soon ande heelo to good water quality for some time.
