Northend kickoff to "North Sound Reefers"

Hello all !
We have now officially kicked off what I hope to be the start of a fun, educational and supportive group of Reefkeepers. Setting up an initial core group of experienced reefkeepers to share are knowledge and passion of keeping marine fish & corals, to help eachother out when in need and to encourage/support beginners to the hobby. We felt that the north Puget Sound region was in need of a cohesive group of hobbiest much like that of the southend. Most of us are and will continue to be card carrying members of PSAS so will schedule our Get Togethers so as not to be in conflict of.

I'd like to invite anyone inerested to join some of us at Shawn O'Donnells Irish Pub & Family Restaurant located at 122 128th St SE Everett 98208, Wednesday eve (Happy Hourish 5-7) Please pm me if you can as I will try and obtain enough seating for the group.

Just to add to what Todd has already mentioned, The North Sound Reefers will not have a BOD per say as we will discuss everything with everyone and what we end up doing as a group will be agreed upon by all, we also will not have any dues nor any Sponsers. If we want to have a get together and have a prize or something along those lines, then we will all pitch in to make it happen.

We will soon start putting together a schedule of get togethers and if anyone has any ideas then let's bring them on! :)

Oh and it was me that moved to your forum, you will get the same exposure and I want to kind of keep all things club in the clubs..

Yea we have configured now so that club forum show up on the front page and on the new posts search. SO that is as good as General or any other.

Wednesday eve 5-7 pm please send me a pm or call if your plannig on joining us as I'm trying to secure enough seating for all. We may end up in downstairs banquet room depending on number of people and availability.

I'd like to set up the meeting for next month.

Very nice. Ocean views from every angle, always in nice weather (We can follow good weather :D ) Temps are in the high 70's to low 80's every day. Very little cloud cover and it's got our own security force to make sure every one is safe.

Now if there was only an easy way to get some decent airfare to my mobile tropical island...

Anyways, I'll be here if any of ya'll want to join, I'll sponsor you onto the Island and sneak you into the city :)

Just kidding, every thing is painted grey and all the plumbing and wiring is ran on the OUTSIDE of all the walls!!!!

Wish I could of been there.

Oh, yeah...

Hypothetical question

Say a guy doesn't have a reef tank anymore... Could he still come to the meetings? He still wants to meet other reefers and learn more about this hobby (I mean addiciton.)

Would love to attend. Logistically I do not see it happening. Oh and by the way I want one of those cool banners.
