notifications

anything change about the format of the email or anything? after months and months, all the sudden email notifications are being marked as spam. i've whitelisted, so it shouldn't be a problem for me... just curiosity, and a heads up i guess.

not sure if its everybody, but notifications are definately now just broken for me... they aren't even going to spam..
just an FYI, the world will not end without them i don't think...

I haven't gotten any email notifications for about a month now.
Not for subscribed threads or pm's

Have been busy using the pm feature.
Received 13 pm's in the last two days and no notifictions came to my email.
Half a dozen or more replies in threads I'm subscribed to and no notifications either.

Yeah it's not the end of the world. lol

I have been getting all notifications.

have you checked your settings? if there was a glitch of any kind maybe all notifications got unchecked.

Top right of the page, click on "Settings" down the left side of the page under "My Account" click on General Settings. scroll down to "Messaging and Notifications" they should all be checked.

the mode of delivery could have been changed too. make sure it says by email and however you want it, immediately or daily or what ever your preference is.

I've changed mine and changed it back mulitple times in hope it would reset. No dice. Before they stopped they were going to spam. Wonder if RF is blacklisted on some servers...

I have been receiving daily notifications regarding my two subscribed forums. I have also received notifications for PMs.

Using gmail.

Although I've only worked with SMF, simple press and word press, I have heard vBulletin is suppose to be the best. Do the bugs show up in the error logs?

Just curious. Source code is a second hobby of mine.

blacklist searc shows ip.v4bl.org has rf on its list.. its the only one i saw..

I never heard of them, it may affect you but not others, I couldn't find a way to search them to see where we were on their site.

I don't know if they have their own, since they list external resources. (cut and paste)
Is my email server listed?
You can find out, here are some simple well known online sites that allow you to search multiple lists simultaneously:
1. http://multirbl.valli.org
2. http://justspam.org
3. http://unifiedemail.net


Again, its not that big of a deal, but it could hurt traffic I would think...

yes I agree, If I can take them off I'll do it, might of been caused by that attack we had in the past, it has left us butchered some.
