My levels are all good although I have some green algae on the rocks which seems to glow bright in the actinic and some dark colored furry algae on some of the other rock work.Do I need to get rid of this before I add anything? What is good to add to the tank first? and Should I do my first change on my canister filter yet before or after adding life?PLEASE HELP

add what?

why are you adding?

why dont you give some detailed info, on equipment, tank size, water preameters? how much live rock, what kind of movement, sand no sand?
time the lights run, how long the tank is up for, whats in it.

little rule of thumb to help u,

dont add anything you dont have a test kit for.

what kind of skimmer, whats the temp, whats the salt level

what are you planing on keeping?

the more detailed your explaintion, the better answer you will reseve

I'm assuming that you have a newly cycled tank, and your looking to start adding livestock.

If this is a newly cycled tank, and all of your parameters are stable. You could slowly start adding a clean up crew. I would start off small maybe add a few snails and hermits.
