October 2013: Trick or Tank Tour

Calling all members who want the PSAS world to see their aquatic works of art! ​

No tricks, just tanks and candy! We would like to run a tank tour this October and would like to start putting together a list of anyone who may be interested in showing off their tank at its location. Ultimately, we would like a mix of seasoned marine aquarists and those newer to the hobby...no tank is too big, and no tank is too small!

last year, the south sound tour was a really fun event! it's always amazing to see how others have set their systems up and what works well for them that you may have never even considered.

We're trying! . So far we have two volunteers in the Renton area and would love more volunteers further north.

Start putting out the word! Harass your friends! This CAN be a North Sound tour!

Hey all! We still need at least three more tanks to visit!

Are you in the mid to north Sound area and wouldn't mind having a few well behaved people gawk over your masterpiece for 20 minutes or so? Maybe your system is just getting started and you're looking for some advice? We want to see your tank!

We would like to start at one home, as last years tour did, with pizza (provided by PSAS) then move on from tank to glorious tank from there.

well to get this out of the way. i really want to do this tank tour. the only problem i have is i cant do any driving. i am on crutches and broke my right leg. so if anyone from the puyallup area that is going to go and wouldnt mind picking me up. i would love to go and i can also help with gas money. lol. see the bribes are coming. hey let me know. thanks chad

We'll figure something out Chad. I've been driving with my left leg but I'm a pretty high functioning cripple. My break was really minor and stupid. You did the job right. I heard Dwayne mention party bus?

Hey everyone, I have to apologize.
I just realized my mom is flying into town of the 18th and we are having a small family get together with my grand kids, my moms great grand kids, on saturday the 19th. I am so sorry, but I have to pull out of the tank tour. I want everyone to know though that another day I would be more than happy to have you over. unfortunately oct 19th and oct 26 are not possible. I'll be taking my mom back to the airport on the 26th.
again I am really sorry.

Calling all tourists!

I'd like to get a preliminary count of people who are planning on attending the tour. Please let me know if you're coming so that we can plan the pre-tour munchies and give our hosts an idea of how many to expect.

It would be awesome to have more than 5 people tour my system this time around. Definitely get the word out gang.
I wont be trimming any blue cali tort etc. till after the tour. Come see some of the areas older maturing colonies.
