so i just bought this reactor and was recommended that i put on a feed pump so i did maxijet 400 filled it up with tank water and turned on the reactor pump when i did tons of micro bubbles can be seen looks like the in side of the protein skimmer i have the CO2 tank hooked up but not turned on.... any suggestions? oh the model number is CR-140

Check to see if all your connections are tight. If they are not tight you could be sucking air somewhere in your lines.

Depending where your drafting your intake water from you may check to see that there are no microbubbles orignationg at the input side. I had the same issue however it turned out that my intake maxijet located in the tank was sucking in bubbles that my sump was sending to my tank then they were sent to my calcium reactor. This created an airlock in my reactor. It is normal for some air to be released from your reactor media at first.

I have one of those units as well...need to bleed off the initial air in the system or it will just keep recirc the air. Also do as Jumpincactus suggested make sure all of your connections are tight incuding the air/water lines, push them in hard, they are notorious for poor seals. Once you get everything tight and bled this is a great CaRx
