Odyssea Skimmer P75??

Has any one used this skimmer? Is there any mods for it? It seems to have a micro bubble problem even with the filter pads! I have a problem with the air intake on the pump. It will not take the air in, I want to use a maxi jet pump with it!

i bought the p160 and honestly its junk ..your better off saving for a better skimmer (what im doing now) imho , im sure there are mods to make it better but in the long run it pays to get a top end skimmer

I have aquaC Remora which is a great skimmer and is my main skimmer , I got the Odyssea Skimmer P75 For a crazy deal on E-bay the price was so low I couldn't pass it up. I have tried to put the pump has close as I can to the water line & it seems to work alot better!

there's a huge thread on RC about modding these skimmers with mesh mod, and using different pumps. i think the consensus is that after modification they work pretty good, but with a tendancy to overflow, so better have a large container to drain skimmate into.

definately kinda ghetto for sure
