online shopping frustration

attn: admin/mods not going to point out any single vendor/online store


my recent return into setting up my 75 tank has led me to multiple online purchases that have seemed to stall, backfire, or just slap me in the face.
i've purchsed from a variety of vendors and online stores in my life and have just recently ran into the worst of it in this last week.
i understand that things happen and you can't judge a vendor by one order but when you have multiple orders that you are spending hundreds of dollars on and they fall through like domino's, it really turns a hobbist away from trying agian ... and allowing other fellow hobbist's from doing the same.

i have found my best transactions have been from fellow reefers because i believe they know what it's like to be burned and are willing to give alittle extra to make a smooth transaction.
from now on i will be searching the classifieds for most of my gear.
if anyone has a online store that has been consistantly on top of it through multiple orders please PM me and let me know.

If you weren't missing from the forum for a while, you'd already know who I buy from(LOL). I must promote them here more than anyone else does any other store!!! I use Premium Aquatics (a sponsor) Great customer service, they send you the stuff when they say they will and not a minute later. They even went to the extent where I had a Tunze come with the housing broken and they are in Indianapolis and didn't have any replacement housings, so they had their supplier next day air a new housing to me from another state and I had it in my hand by 10 am the next morning. They have always done me well and I even made a great friend Rob out of the deal who came to the Bahamas last week for week and we got to hang out. So yeah...I love Premium Aquatics. Best of luck
