Orange Guttatus Birdsnest Coral for Grabs

Hey Gang,

I have a Orange Guttatus Birdsnest frag (coral) that I need to find a new home for. The frag rack it's on is about to fall off the aquarium wall. I originally got this coral from Live Aquaria a couple years ago. This coral is about 8" across.

what K light is the coral under now? looks like it is only a few inches under the surface? i bet you could have sold this at the meeting

It's under a Tek5 T5 light in the back corner of my tank right now, so it's not exactly under a bunch of light right now. The one in the fuge is under a 6 bulb Tek5 T5 light and it's a bit more blue/green.

Hey Devon- looks like we are related by corals in many instances(! thanks for all the frags, Charlie!). I do have some Acros that you don't have (I think that's what are)...Maybe? The lime green one, a pale tan w/ blue tips, Brown w/ blue tips, green with blue tips (some have blue tips!).

Im glad i found you guys, i cant wait to meet some of you locals and possibly pick up frags. I have a new tank with no corals but its ready! Im running 2 65 watt pc and 24 cree leds on my oceanic 58 gallon, although I desperately need to get a reverse osmosis system going beforr I chance putting many pricy corals in there.

Are you getting RO water from Reefmissoula? Any plans for metal halides? What is the goal for your tank? Fish, corals, rock, etc.?

I have not gotten RO from reefmissoula yet. I kept forgetting to ask him if he did that. I intend to purchase my own RO system and ATO soon. Eventually I will want a reef. I have a 150 watt coralife MH light fixture that I gutted the MH out of and replaced with 24 watt cree leds. So far my light is almost too bright and seems to have fried what few soft corals I had in my tank. I will probably suspend the fixture. I will be posting a tank thread soon.

What soft corals do you have in your system? I used to have a few different soft corals in my tank until they started to fight via chemical warfare. My SPS didn't exactly like the warfare and went south, so out with most of the softies for me! Oh and yeah, Dan has RO water available for his customers until you get your RO unit up and running.
