Ok Kevin I have another shot in the dark question for you to try to field: I have a small (20 gallon) SPS tank with about 20 different SPS corals. EVERYone BUT my Orange Montipora Digitata has great pylop extension. The Digitata has almost none, in fact its not very orange at all because of this.... I have tried several different locations. Added carbon to the system. BUT NOTHING I do helps this guy...... STRANGE fact I think the coral has grown in size?? I have brain stormed with the LFS and with no results.....

I have been told this is an easy coral to keep, right??????

Tank Parameters:

150watts MH
130watts actinic PC

SAl 1.24-1.26
Temp 78
Cal: 375-400
Alk: 8.5-9.5
Mag 1300

Flow:
Return, K1, and a K3

Hello,
It is regarded as a beginner SPS coral. Look for a fish or invert irritating it. Polyp retraction is often a sign of irritation.

Cheers,
Kevin
