Hey everybody,

Just wanted an opinion on orchid dottybacks. I have a 10 gallon, and I was curious if I could put one in there. It's a softie tank with 1 Randall's goby and that's it. They would be the only 2 fish in there. Liveaquaria lists them as needing 30 gallons, but I've heard that's just because of aggression, and I know a couple people who have had them in 20's. Wanted to get some more opinions because I don't want to add him if it's too small.

Yeah, IMO, 10 is a little too small.

The purple firefish would be cool if your looking for some color.

I figured as much. Thanks for the input! Maybe the dottyback will be the motivation for finally setting up the 30.
