On the corner overflow tank I'm setting up, The out take back to the tank has a straight pipe coming up to an elbow that connects to the nozzle into the tank. That elbow doesn't fit tight enough by it self and will blow off when I turn on the pump.

I know I can use PVC glue for a permanent fix ,but I would like the ability to remove it for adjustment purposes. Does anyone have any ideas to tighten up the friction fitting a little without gluing it?

Thanks.

YOu could use a zip tie to join it to the teeth of the overflow, or just paint on a single strip of pvc glue.

Trying to picture this... The elbow fitting that attaches to the straight pipe is not snug enough? If so, is it a slip fitting? If yes, can you convert it to a threaded fitting so you can just un-screw it whenever you need to or am I totally lost on what you are talking about? Lol! If so, any chance to get a picture? For slip fittings that need to be removed maybe a little bit of silicone would do the trick. Should hold the fittings together as well as easily be cut or pulled apart with enough force. Still trying to picture what you are dealing with though..,
