I've got a question about my equipment. I have the CPR 150 as an overflow and a Mag5 pump that both have foam filters on them. Should I remove those foam filters?

I was just wondering if it is better to have them on the overflow and return or not. I was thinking not to have them because the pods can't get through them.

Any thoughts would be great.

You still have restrainers under them, right?

Then I'd say - remove them, and not even because of pods, but because it'll be nitrate factory in a couple of months (detritus collects there, goes to ammonia, bacteria population grows there, ammonia -> nitrite, nitrite -> nitrate and the last goes to your water, well nitrite and ammonia goes into water too, but those are processed by bacteria I mean :), where nitrate should be consumed by some kind of algae (and you can guess which kind will be there first ;) ) ).
