overflow box

i have a 125 gal fowlr tank, eshopps wet dry filter 200cc 150-200 gal, 950 gph mag drive, dual overflow box im only able to keep 1 tube working how do i manage to keep both tubes going the pet store said i should be fine with 1 but i paid for 2 can somebody help me please.
