what affect does overskimming (like having a skimmer rated for a 250g on a 55g) have on zoos? willl zoos do well?

I my opinion there is no such thing as "overskimming".As long as the return is not delivering air bubbles back into the tank, I say "Skim On".
Keep your eye on your water elements and top off daily, your water will be crystal clear. Thats something we strive for! TinMan

haha alrighty, i just purchased a schuran jetskim 150 for my 55g setup, hopefully that will turn out alright

yup just got it off ebay the other day :D

i've got the css220 on my 55 w/ 30 sump, it does well, though it keeps getting clogged with algae, need to get a sponge over the intake

I have a skimmer rated for 75g on my 10gal nano and my fire and ice zoas are multiplying like crazy.

Good Luck,
Steven
