I use the etts 800 downdraft skimmer that's not compatiable w/ozone input,what can I use as reactor otherwise.

I use the etts 800 downdraft skimmer that's not compatiable w/ozone input,what can I use as reactor otherwise.

i've seen photo's of diy's using a piece of pvc w/water passing thru w/ shreded plastic inside for water to trickle over and ozone injected then ran thru carbon is this good or should i get another skimmer to intro the oz?
