I'm coming back to the hobby. I have a 72 gallon bowfront. I'm gonna use spray paint. Any tips? Anything special I need to do?

It's really cold in my garage. I didn't think about that. Smh it really ran and looks horiible. I'm gonna razor it off and run a heater first then try again. Smh.

Warm does help. lol
Hard to get that around here lately.

Many ways to do it. Rattle can, pour method, and even a short nap roller.

I rolled the can of paint in hot water. Used a hair dryer to heat the tanks surface. Worked better this go around. I need one more can of paint for a final coat and missed spots. Thanks for the help.

My wife painted the backround of my last two tanks, looked really cool. She used a paint from Dick Blick Art Supplies formulated for glass. It really looked neat. Aquarium 11-2013 011.jpg

I learned the hard way as well. Make sure you maintain the correct temp posted on the paint can while drying as well.
