I was very fortunate to have picked up this guy from LiveAquaria (DD)... I've been waiting for it for a while... I couldn't be any happier... :D :) :D

Wow Marvin that is a beautiful flasher wrasse. I have a trio of mccoskers and they are probably one of my favorite fish.
I started with a trio of McKosker's but gave my brother the biggest one a few months ago... I was left with 2 juvi's so the one decided to turn into a nice male... the other gets chased around every so often by the bigger one... how are yours getting along?

I'm quite excited to have the Attenuatus... I've been looking for one for a while... only a handful people have these atm... I hope more will show up so more people can enjoy them... :)

That is a nice looking fish Marvin. I have like 5 fairy wrasses in the 270. I will be adding more fairy and flasher wrasses down the road. I love the colors on these fish!

sweet man.... :)

all my fishes are F&F wrasses besides the Yellow Tang... believe it or not, the YT gets more attention when people see the tank... LoLz...

Yeah I bet the yellow tang gets more attention over the wrasses. I get the same thing. I have all these little colorfull fish but then again the tangs get the most attention from visitors. Especially the noobs.

Ditto, the Yellow Tang grabs everyones attention but I like my McCoskers Wrasse and Tailspot Blenny and there kind of an Odd Couple pair in my DT

well, I let him go last night after the 1st snack... I normally thaw their food and feed them increments... tonight there was 3 increments... nobody seemed to care much about him when he was in the box, think again... :(

at first, the McKosker's messed with him but he held his ground pretty well... then, I got a surprised... the Hooded started chasing everyone and focused his attention on the Attenuatus for a quick second... I didn't expect this at all... the Hooded normally messes with the female turned male HI Flame every so often... I turned off the lights and left the PowerBrites for a few minutes to diffuse the aggression... the Attenuatus started peeking out again and when the McKosker's got close, he started flashing them, both the smaller one and the larger one... I think he'll dominate both McKosker's if he can somehow get on the good side of the Hooded... lights are all off now and I'll manually turn them on tomorrow for more observation... wish me luck... man, it was awesome sight seeing the Attenuatus flash, even with just the PowerBrites on... :)

PICS PLEASE,
Be sure and charge the batteries first, I drained mine taking about 200 pics to only get 3-4 good ones of my McCosker but not one of him flashing in focus. Damn delay in digital cameras but glad it wasn't my old 35mm. A short vid would be very cool also.

I'll have some pics as soon as I get some decent ones... LoLz... more like a short vid when he gets comfortable... :)

okay... here's Video # 1... please excuse the tank condition with the algae and all but the tank will be under construction this week... new sump to accommodate the CS-200 skimmer better, new scape to incorporate the pillars from gooch, etc... I'm also taking out the two McKosker's I've had since Aug of last year and giving the Hooded a 3-5 days time out to let the Attenuatus get acquainted with his new home... both of the McKosker's and the Hooded are giving the Attenuatus a hard time acclimating but he's eating every feeding time... he's only out when the PowerBrites are on... since I got the Attenuatus, I've only had one complete photoperiod day... but it's gonna change soon... ;)
