Parasite or algae

I have something in my tank and I don't know what it is. They are red-orange in color, flat and about 2mm square. They are on both rock and glass.

there are also wrasses that can help keep them in check. some, like the 6 line will work in almost any tank, but are territorial and can cause problems. melanarus for a bit larger tank, but they are known to mess with clean up crews. take your time to evaluate your options. i haven't heard many horror stories about flatworm exit,but it is 'chemical means' which you shouldn't take lightly...
