PC bulb quality

In my never ending quest to find supplies at a lower cost, I am wondering about some of the various brands of PC bulbs that I see online.

For instance:

There are also JBJ, Jalli and "no name" lights available. Some times things are the same item with a different brand name, some times they are not.

I've heard of some brands where instead of an actinic bulb you get a bulb with blue colored glass. Anyone tried any of these brands?

To be honest I would go VHO before PC, Thats just my opinion But iam sure others will back me up on this. PC are great for supplementation, But to be used soley as lighting source I think you could go better with VHO then PC. JMHO

Actually I've been thinking about getting a T5 fixture. Maybe a 4x54w unit.

There is another option, I fully applaud that choice of Bulb, You wont be sorry.
