PCI PS200 Skimmer

Just looking for some advice on this skimmer. Has anyone used it? I will have it on a 65 gallon. Is it overkill? Decent? Replace?

I am so tired of these needle wheel skimmers... I have a Coralife 220 and this one now. I tried to get this one started last night and dropped the pump into my display and it was not really working at all. My Coralife, even though I know it is supposed to be a horribly cheap skimmer, used to pump out some major skimmate and was working great, then just pooped out on me. I tried cleaning it and mesh modding (which I didn't do right) to no avail. I just want a damn skimmer that will work!

Looks like I'm gonna have to have matt build me a custom sump to fit an in-sump skimmer then. That ps200 is a hang on. Grrrr...all in all I guess I still got a good deal, I hope. Knowing me though, I'm probably going to replace the PC retro with a t5 retro and put a better reflector for the halide. Also hook up a oceans motions 2way squirt into the plumbing...this might be costing more than the original purchase by the time I'm done...it happens I guess.

65g skimmer

It might be a bit much for a 65g, but I just got a [url="http://allmypetsupplies.com/p-1192-tunze-doc-skimmers.aspx]Tunze Doc Skimmer[/url] and love the thing!!! No problems, no worries with it(which is a first for me and skimmers). Just my two cents, good luck on your search.
