I know last year around this time petco had a sale on standard AGA tanks at $1 per gallon. anyone know if they are doing it again this year and when? thanks!

The one near me went through 40BR and 20L's like those were the last ones on Earth. I needed a couple small tanks at that time and got the last 2 20L's and they were already out of 40BR's. It was the 3rd day of the sale!

Last year I picked up a few 55's. The 40's sold really fast out here as well.

A member of my local reef club contacted PETCO via e-mail and recieved this response:

Just got this e-mail from Petco HQ.

Dear Danna,

Thank you for contacting PETCO Customer Relation.

The $1 / gallon sale on fish tanks happens around July- August. The stores will start putting up signs 2 weeks prior to having the store and it will be posted online and in flyers.
