Pfizer!!!!

Well pfizer is cutting 10,000 more jobs away this year. That is only 10% of the work force and closing the Brooklyn and other plants. I was shocked about the brooklyn site for sure.. That was the first pfzer site they had anyways my job is safe for now we are making a new product call exubera. Its a inhailed insulin the first of its kind So how many people have stock in pfizer if i may ask????? Just wanted to see what people thought.

Hey Brady just heard on the radio about the job cuts. Apparently Phizer has some drugs where the patent is expiring this year. Bad for the stock holders but good for consumers if drugs become generic.

layoff's are never easy no matter if you get cut or stay. I won't name the company i work for, but they just announced a second round of layoffs last week. It's not fun. Lost many friends, moral is down, and overall people are just running scared. They are outsourcing to cheaper means - some overseas, some within the U.S. All indication we're getting is that my company has to do this to survive and remain competitive - if that's true, then I understand.. but we posted record earnings last year, and are expected to post record earnings this year too so I'm not completely convinced of the necessity of it all.
