Not sure how big a problem this is or not, and wondering if I need to correct it. Despite pretty good parameters, my pH is remaining elevated. In the morning it's at its lowest at about 8.6, and by late day/evening it rises to about 8.8 or so. Calcium currently at 425, Alk at 9.0 and Mag at 1350. I two part dose with BRS supplied Ca and Alk. pH has stayed up like this for the last two months, after I slowly raised my alkalinity a couple of months ago (over about a 5 day period of time) from 6 to 9, when my alkalinity dropped because I wasn't testing enough and dosing. Prior to this, my pH was usually around 8 to 8.1. I use Aquavitro Salinity salt mix, and SG is 1.025. Suggestions?

Measuring pH with my Apex ph probe. Water movement with two vortech mp 40's in a 100 g tank, plus the return which is divided and aimed towards surface of tank. No smokers in the house. Good airy room with lots of open windows most days.
