Well I have to say I never post anything on the Forum ever, because I don't have the time to make sure what I'm saying makes sense. But none the less what I have to say is PhycoPure the live microalgae that B. Reef has for sale has made my 14+ Clams go nuts in color and mantle health. I was told by the Rep at B. Reef's Grand opening, that Phycopure would produce more color and pattern. I said to myself whatever, but still bought that product to see for myself. Everything the nice lady said has come true, mantles are out further meaning length and I have noticed pattern development and color change for the better. So go and try it, I noticed overall health and color changes in my clams after the first week and patern changes after a month of use. Thanks and good luck

any effect pro and con on sps,,lps

I have a 150g tank full to the max with SPS with about a 1/4in bettween corals, and my tank is rocking with color and health of my SPS and clams. I do have some LPS but not much. But with doing everything Cy from B. Reef says to do in the last 6yrs I finally have my Dream tank with all my corals looking like they are still on the Reef. As for the effects that PhycoPrue has on my corals I would not know as much, because my corals were in good health before i started using it. With that said i use a little more than it say on the packaging of the PhycoPure because its such a clean product and you know as much as me SPS like very CLEAN water. I say, if you have more LPS PhycoPure would benifit those corals much more, in my tank SPS look better everyday since I started using it. Hope that helps!!

thanks for response with the info so quick,,could you post your tank pics,6 years sps goonna be reeal dream like you said,we love to see it,,

I have personally seen the tank and the colors are always improving each time I stop in. I did notice his clams were noticibally more healthy. More so than any other clams I've seen elsewhere. I'll probably stop by his place again and check out his new pieces and then I'll have a comparison of clam, sps, lps color from a few weeks ago.

And yes, it's time for some pics of your tank. I know you have a camera and are quite capable of using it.

just stop by his place and tour his tank today during snow strom,,,

it is worth the trip,,his tank looks magnefficent,,,great tour,,great coral ,,alt of nice clams ,,see some coral piece i 'd never seen it before,,elegance coral blue tip and purple tip is looks great,on and on,,,,,jeff,,,thanks for let me see your tank:)

Finally got back out to see Jeff's tank for the first time in about 8 months....wow....good job my friend. Looks like all those questions and all that work is paying off big time. Here are some pictures. They are from my camera phone so sorry about the quality. They don't so his colors justice. Nor can you appreciate all the smaller pieces mixed in here and there. Plus, he's got a Tunze Wavebox so all his polyps sway back and forth in a natural manner. Special!!

Coastline,

Is this product spelled correctly? When I tried to search for it on the Internet, I get no results.
I am trying to find who makes it and a general description of the product.

thanks

Cy,

Thanks. I was using PhytoFeast, but I may want to try this product.

What's the pricing on this product??

I just started using this stuff within the last week or so. I have a fairly new tank so I'm only dosing it about 2-3x per week. Hopefully my results will be similar...:)
