Its another, "my puffer wont eat thread" Heres the story. I bought my porc puffer about a year ago. The LFS said the previous owner couldnt get it to eat flake so he returned it. Well i bought the puffer and a bag of krill and some mollies. I dropped the dead krill in the tank and it gobbled up two or three pieces on the drop, a year goes by, never had any problems, i still own the mollies in a ten gallon actually.
I just came back from a 6month tour and my puffer wont eat anymore, the krill floats right past here and stays on the bottom, she wont eat the feeder goldfish (i know i know) that i dropped in there to get her excited, she picked at it once and doesnt bother it anymore. She does eat some snails (at night, i havent seen her do it just broken shells in morning) The water quality is a little low at 1.021 but the levels are good. The thing i am guilty of is not having a great routine of turning the tank lights on everyday, do you think the fish is "mad at me" for being in the dark somedays? Kind of confused on this one, any help would be appreciated.
