Hello everyone,

These pics were taken using a 100mm canon lens on a canon 5d camera. The fuzzy ones are probably ones I took, the clear ones Michael took.:D

I am trying to get used to the lens and camera and hopefully will have some good pics to post of my zoa tank in the near future.

ok, I am getting a photobucket account!

The last pic is of a hammer in my frag tank.

Hope you enjoy!

Not bad at all, for the two of us hand holding...not each other, but the camera. Thanks for allowing me to play with your 5D!! What an amazing camera. LOL Hate to say it, but I'm glad you're having trouble with focus while using the 100mm too. I thought it was either me, or I had a bad copy of the 100mm. The above pics were taken with my 100mm and Tony's Canon 5D, except for the last picture, which was taken with Tony's 5D and his own 100mm. Thanks for posting these pics!!

Pictures taken at F stop of 2.8 generally, with the shutter speed around 1/40 to 1/80 I beleive, just to get enough light on the pic

Hmm, when I use my 100mm, with my Canon Rebel Xt, I'm usually able to have a higher Fstop. I can be up in the 5s with most of my tank, and still get a well lit picture. Wonder if the different camera body makes that much of a difference, OR if having my white balance custom set makes the difference. When I'm in the lower lit areas of my tank, I have to crank the aperture up to a wider opening, like 2.8-3.4 range. Let me go shoot some quick. I'll shoot them all with the same settings.

K, just shot all of these quick, with the 100mm Macro, Auto Focus, camera in Manual setting. Aperture is set at 5.0, Shutter at 1/80, ISO at 400 and hand holding the camera. Some are slightly dark, but wanted to keep the same settings for all pics. The Birdsnest and the Stylophora might even be slighty too bright. The light areas are slightly blown out.
